Welcome to Love's: The Customer Engagement Sales Team is seeking a Team Lead to play a vital role in supporting the operational functions of the Customer Engagement Team, including Love’s Express Fuel Card Sales, Coordinator responsibilities, and Love’s Financial Sales Team. This position ensures smooth processing of sales documentation, reporting, and operational practices, while also providing cross-functional support to Love’s Financial Operations and Sales Teams. The Team Lead must have a strong understanding of Love’s products and services, and be adept at using various systems to resolve client inquiries and collaborate across departments. 

 

Job Functions:

  • Lead and guide team members in delivering accurate, complete, and customer-focused information.
  • Engage with multiple team segments including Coordinators, Financial Operations, and Sales.
  • Cross-train team members to ensure flexibility and coverage across roles.
  • Partner with Customer Engagement Supervisors and the Manager to address evolving business needs.
  • Support audit processes and daily operations for Coordinator and Factoring roles.
  • Provide research and problem-solving support for internal and external inquiries.
  • Process and manage sales documentation across multiple systems and teams.
  • Compile and verify monthly reports for Sales and Factoring teams.
  • Investigate customer inquiries and deliver solutions through collaboration and resource utilization.
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and drive results.
  • Stay informed on all active team projects to provide assistance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Strong customer service and active listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Sound judgment in handling and escalating issues appropriately

 

Skills and Physical Demands:

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
    • Skilled in collaborating with various departments and customers
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word); Salesforce experience preferred
    • Strong typing, attention to detail, and task follow-through
    • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
    • Professional demeanor and customer-oriented mindset
    • Prolonged sitting with occasional bending and stooping
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
    • Manual dexterity for computer and calculator use
    • Normal hearing and vision range required
