Welcome to Love's! We are looking for an Automation Specialist I to to join us onsite in Oklahoma City, OK and assist with process automation solution analysis and development. This role supports documentation and re-engineering legacy processes, as well as developing and maintaining customer automation solutions within the company’s automation environment. The Automation Specialist I ensures cost-effective automation by coordinating technical requirements, design, and integration with other technologies. *Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Job Functions:

  • Identify, analyze, and gather requirements for business automation needs.
  • Participate in a series of initial training courses to learn basic functions of UiPath.
  • Document as-is and to-be processes, data, and systems utilizing appropriate diagramming and documentation methodologies, to support automation workflows built within Love’s automation platform.
  • Maintain documentation according to firm standards, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Develop and support automation workflows built within Love’s automation platform.
  • Create and execute test cases on automation, including unit tests and user acceptance tests.
  • Identify process gaps or exceptions and provide recommendations to reengineer processes before automation.
  • Meet daily with the automation team to provide progress updates and assist other team members with clearing roadblocks.
  • Provide production support for existing automation processes as assigned.
  • Clearly communicate work status to business leads, managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business subject matter experts to understand issues, plan work, and deliver solutions.
  • Other duties assigned as needed.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, CS, Business, or related field required.
  • Software development experience in SQL, C#, Java, Regular Expressions, Python, .Net, or SAP GUI scripting.
  • Exposure to robotic process automation software such as UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Appian, Winshuttle/Automate Studio, or Microsoft Power Platform (aka Power App, Power Automate, Microsoft Flow).
  • Exposure to software support, business analysis, QA, or project management.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, Large Language Models (LLMs), and/or Document Understanding/Intelligent Document
  • Processing (DU/IDP) tools are beneficial for working with agents and Task/Process/Communication mining tools in this entry-level, hybrid RPA Developer/Analyst role.

 

Skills and Physical Demands:

  • Hard Skills:
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer knowledge; Ability and willingness to learn new robotic process automation tools and techniques.
    • Understanding of object-oriented design principles; Proficient in building, testing, and supporting basic software solutions.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong people and process skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively; Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills; Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; Ability to manage numerous competing demands in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently on complex development objects and process documentation; Ability to build relationships to lead and deliver improvement projects, as well as challenge and support colleagues to improve performance.
