BASIC PURPOSE: The Aviation Operations Specialist II is responsible for performing a wide variety of hands-on aviation support duties to ensure the safe, efficient, professional, and timely operation of the company fleet, hangar, ramp, and office facilities. Working under general supervision, this role plays a key part in daily flight operations by managing aircraft launching and recovery, aircraft cleaning and detailing, hangar and facilities upkeep, inventory control, and additional operational support tasks.
Aircraft Operations Support:
- Safely launch and recover aircraft in accordance with established procedures, including aircraft marshalling, towing with electric tugs, and precise positioning for departures, arrivals, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct pre- and post-flight inspections of ramp and aircraft movement areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate and execute efficient aircraft repositioning to support flight schedules, passenger movements, and maintenance requirements.
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft to the highest company standards, including vacuuming, surface sanitization, window cleaning, leather conditioning, carpet treatment, and stain removal.
- Complete specialized cleaning tasks between flights and deep-detailing as required to maintain a premium, five-star appearance for passengers and crew.
- Ensure proper use and storage of approved cleaning products while adhering to manufacturer recommendations and environmental regulations.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the hangar, ramp, and support areas to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules, including FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention, floor care, equipment organization, and waste management.
- Identify and promptly report facility maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Monitor, track, and maintain adequate inventory levels of hangar supplies, cleaning materials, office consumables, and operational items.
- Timely ordering, receiving, inspection, and proper storage of supplies while keeping accurate records in inventory systems.
- Proactively identify supply needs and recommend cost-effective alternatives that maintain quality standards.
- Provide flexible support to flight crews, maintenance personnel, and management as needed, including basic administrative tasks and office assistance.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, FAA regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Participate in safety briefings, training programs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall aviation operations and hangar efficiency.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred

- Experience:
- Previous Aviation experience to include:

- Minimum of 1 years of Aircraft and facility maintenance
- Minimum of 1 years of Aircraft tug operations
- Minimum of 1 years of Hangar operations

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Schedule management for a constantly shifting aircraft schedule
- Ability to manage numerous competing demands in an extremely high stress environment
